While many celebrities are caught on camera enjoying a little fun at Disneyland, have you ever wondered how many of them are actual Disney fans?
USA Today did an interview with Ryan Gosling yesterday, wherein a few questions centered on Disneyland and Gosling’s childhood ties to the original Magic Kingdom Park.
The September 14th interview was published to promote his new movie Drive, opening today in theaters, and The Ides of March opening next month.
So what is Ryan Gosling’s favorite ride at Disneyland?
The Haunted Mansion.
He told USA Today,
“The Haunted Mansion ride changed my life. When I was 14, when it went around the corner and all those ghosts were dancing with each other, it made me think that dying wasn’t so bad. I kind of grew up in a haunted house. I used to think my house was haunted. We did at the time, and we moved because of it. So when I went on the Haunted Mansion ride, it made me think it wasn’t so bad.”
It’s not a huge surprise Gosling is a Disney fan given his childhood stint as a Mouseketeer, alongside Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Christina Aguilera, in the 90’s revival of “The Mickey Mouse Club”.
As an adult, Gosling hasn’t lost that love for Disney. He’s been seen on several occasions bringing dates to “The House of Mouse”. Most recently, he was spotted over Labor Day weekend with Eva Mendes holding hands and kissing. Previously, he was seen at Disneyland with “Gossip Girl” Blake Lively and “2 Broke Girls” star, Kat Dennings.
Gosling finished by saying, “Disney is just a really incredible place.”
